a very easterly sunday!

Its our tradition to go to the beach every Easter sunday ever since. Weather is not particularly a problem for us neither scorching heat or get drenched in the rain, as long as we could get to the beach. And it is completely impossible for us not to bring foods and beverages with us, we love food anyway. However, this years easter sunday was different. 

We were enjoying all the foods and company until deluge of rain turned all the excitement into chaos.Well, we never expect to rain heavy that day and it never happened before. So, we thought the rain would soon be over and we could get back from what we were doing. But it got worse when the wind suddenly started to blow. Then Palm leaves started falling on top of our cottage. All of a sudden everyone was shouting, first thing came to my mind was somebody probably got struck by falling palm leaves. Until i saw who it was, it was my kid. Fortunately he got up with only minor bruises, but he was so scared he never stopped crying. We waited for hours for the rain to stop, i even thought it would never stop. We left when rain started to calm. After what just happened, my poor kid promised never to go back to the beach.

Bryne's Chinese New Year Presentation

Every parents love to see their kids dance at special occasions. We barely blink just to see every single movement they make in stage. And you just cant resist to preserve that precious moment of their very first stage play. Here's my lil tyke:

Bryne's First Day of School

Bryne Nathan Abarquez Lim, my son, he just entered Nursery 2 on June 8.

We are excited and my son as well, in his 1st day of school. We were actually planned ahead on what Bryne will be bringing to school. So we gather up list of things. First on the list was he's "BAON" or snack or lunch pack which is necessary. Next on the list is paper, pencils, colors and school things that will go inside his bag.

We taught Bryne how to introduce himself just incase if hes asked by his teacher, his name ,our names, where he lived, age, etc.

Here's the funny part, On Monday June 8, as planned, we drove him to school, reminding him everything and repeating it while i was driving. So we were confident he'd recall everything. But, unfortunately, after all the instructions i gave him, he still end up crying when he was asked about his name. Then after that he slept the whole day in class. (Nice try dad!)

The next day, again, same as the 1st day.

Well, on the third day, something new came up, he neither cried or slept in class. He participated in singing, dancing, reading, and made new friends. Although we were not there to see it, his Yaya told as everything. Well, our excitement really paid off.

We are sure proud of our son. We expect more from him
