Aug 17 2009, Ryan's Birthday. Surprisingly, he treated us out for a snack at Cafe Urbana. Again ,as usual, it always turned out like a double date. I'm not really sure of his intention bringing us with them, but i might figure it out later. But anyway thanks Boss for the snack. I sure did pig out.

Quick Trip to Caluwayan Palm Island

Well, a few mishap here and there but we certainly manage to get there in time. Although the weather was not in the mood, not even a single ray to pierce through the thick clouds. But that's not important, we are in a quick getaway anyway from our busy life.

So far the best beach i ever been to. Nice cozy cottages and very satisfying food! but I recommend you not to go swimming in the beach its jellyfish season, their everywhere! yikes! take a plunge to their infinity pool instead. And not to mention an Absolutely breathtaking view! In the end, i still cant get enough of the place but, unfortunately, i was all worn out and i have to drive back home.

UFC 101 anderson silva vs forrest griffin

Its an Inevitable defeat to Forrest Griffin not to mention his most embarrassing defeat in his career. Forrest Griffin came out short with his fight with Anderson Silva. Judging from the punches he have thrown to Silva, not even a single one landed on him, which was clearly predictable. anyway. On the other hand, Silva was dodging every punch waiting for an opening. Well, Silva landed one making Griffin wobbly at first and eventually, landed another one right to his chin leaving Griffin flat on the canvas. Merely, without breaking a sweat!

The conclusion to this fight ,well,of course, still the undefeated Anderson Silva. Twas a remarkable display of feat for Silva on the other way around, an indelible stain in Griffin's record.

Chill out this sunday out on the Beach

ohhh.. cant wait til sunday! after the hustle and bustle we utterly can chill out this sunday! Its time to wash out all stressful things in my head and rejuvenate. Although, we have not yet decided where (too many beach resorts to choose from around leyte) we must still go on whatever, whenever or wherever the road will take us *crossing my fingers*. Well, i hope our number is enough for the trip. We will certainly have a problem if one more of our group backs out. (got me worried at the moment). Affliction Shirts..

Its been weeks now and i haven't thought of anything to blog or should i say it has been a long streak of boring days. Plus i have been slacking off from work, daily routines, blogging as well. lols.

So while i sit here idle thinking of way to pass time, playing poker in facebook and looking for updates in UFC at yahoo sports. I really didnt think time would fly just loafing around but somehow as time goes on you notice every little details that you see. I noticed ever UFC fighter wearing their signature clothing line named AFFLICTION. Now wouldn't that be great if i get one of those! So being a eager beaver not wasting a second i googled it. Well, all those hype gradually decrease from every click through the pages of every site. I was hoping price would range from 10-20 bucks, but to my dismay a hefty 40-50 bucks for every single shirt. 1800-2000 Php. Well thats not bad if your living in LA. I could only drool over those who has that shirt here in our place.

After a while of nearly losing interest, my wife told me that a replica might be possible. Somehow, it fuels up my burning desire now that i could get one of these. Sweet! We manage to pick a great deal online not even close to half of the authentic price. For only 300-350 php you can choose from a variety of Replica Affliction Shirts. I'm pretty sure its quite similar from an authentic shirt. I guess i'd know better when i grab one. Here are the cool shirts that i chose:

Saturday Gimik @ BUGZ (Kamikazee & Brownman Revival concert @Astro Dome)

You should probably know by now that Bugz is always our Gimik place. So i should give'm credits by simply introducing Bugz to ya'll. We love it there since they almost serve all the foods that we love, very exceptional foods, aside from the food the place is spacious just the right place for your class reunions. And not to mention that almost every celebrities that is held @ astro dines in Bugz, so its likely you will meet them there after the concerts.

As you can see the picture here with me posing silly is Jay Contreras (lead vocalist of Kamikazee) right after dining @ Bugz. Anyway i already know he would pose like this because i never seen a serious picture of him with fans. Also, Brownman Revival was there but i couldn't exactly pinpoint who's the lead vocalist because i've never seen him without sunglasses. Not until somebody asked for his picture who were apparently was just right beside me. But i guess one pic with a celebrity is enough so i didn't even bother taking his pic.

Brock Lesnar knock the hell out of Frank Mir

still undisputed heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar litterally beat the hell out of Frank Mir. It was a fair and clean fight, both got bad bruises from their exchange of blows but still Mir was pretty beaten up from the end. And Brock's most controversial part at the end his taunting and throwing middle fingers at the audience or antics as they say it. I guess he was just carried away by still being the defending champion. And looking back at his WWE career, he was a villain, it was his job to let WWE fans hate him, now, UFC Fans Proclaimed Brock as Big Bad Brock. Anyway, he apologized the next day, harm was done lets just get on with the next bloodfest. However, Dana White promised a fight between Brock Lesnar and Fedor Emelianenko who is still in contract with Affliction until August. Simply because Fans wanted a hell of a beating to Brock Lesnar. Though its still unclear if Fedor will agree, there are still few more options to choose for a next challenger like couture, carwin or bobby lashley. Well, goodluck to Brock i hope he doesn't eat his words to whoever the next challenger is.

Plans way ahead for Me and My Wife

Me and my wife are at the brink of getting bored of our lifestyle. Everyday and everything seems just as normal as always. Its like waking up doing the same thing that are necessary for our daily living, Its No fun at all. Yes we do gimik from time to time but thats just normal for us, its a short time to have fun. We need something new, somewhere to explore and replenish our minds and somewhere far beyond the bounderies we're in. So, to cut a long story short, we are craving to travel somewhere far from our place, either other cities here in the Philippines or outside the country. We are not expecting it soon, so, we are still browsing through all the itinerary from airlines, looking for a cheap and very convincing as well. Meanwhile, we are saving enough for the trip and planning exactly where and when. Although it may take months or a year, we'll make sure the plan is fixed and nothing is in our way.

Here are few options:

3 days of Fun two weeks of work!

2 consecutive nights of gimik 1 day of malling its equivalent to 2 week of work!? its been buggin me, how much did i spend for 3 days.. im clueless. o_0


Its inevitable to spend that much, unaware of how much but it was fun indeed. 1st of all my friend just got back from cebu, so, for him to compensate the years he missed here we spend 2 nights of drink galore. Well, on the third day since i promised my son, nephew and niece to watch transformers we spend the whole afternoon malling. You know how u cant resist buying whole lot of things when u are @ the mall.

Anyway its priceless for me to see my son so happy so it doesnt matter how much. I'll be expecting more for coming events here in Tacloban. :)

Blogger's Friend

I have been thinking lately on how to be the right blogger. As i was browsing through Blogs, i have found an intersting instrument or should i say a pharaphernalia that every Bloggers has, to make a great preface to an exciting Blog. Yes, a visual representation of a Blog, pictures and images, it incorporates the whole blog. So every bloggers should have a camera. We never know when a camera may come in handy so its essential to bring a camera whenever or wherever you go. As a novice i am starting with my personal cellphone which i have been taking care for 7 months from now. Well, it still makes a good quality of picture but somehow it'll makes my blog lively. Lets start here:

Saturday Night Out!

Well, it was another restless night hoping that it never ends. It was fun, i was with my friends and she was out with her friends. Usually, when me and my wife go out, we intentionally put a boundary for us just so we could have fun with our friends. Anyway we do spend all the time at home so, save the time for later..


We tried to visit our friends BBQ stands and luckily Kjwan was playing, a famous band here in the Philippines. We are not really a fan of the band so we got up as soon as we finish eating. After the quick dinner at our friends bbq stand, its FOOD and BOOZE Binge at BUGS!! Especially when i'm with a specific friend of mine, its always a food and drink spree, all hail to you my friend!

This friend is well known to the chinesse comunity, well, thanks to that i also get to know some of his friends who apparently are business tycoons here in Tacloban. (i'm always eager to know their secret of success so i'll be glad i'm there if they spill the beans when they got drunk!) :)


Its fun when your company is way ahead getting drunk than you, you get to see some sudden turn of events, if you know what i mean. That being said, i observed some of friends comparing them from conscious to unconscious and its fun really. I was actually grinning the whole time i was there. There was this girl who was actually yanked out of her motorcycle coz they're not letting her drive drunk, but she was totally persistent. I'm really sorry for her, but it sure was a great entertainment for me. Lols. And there was this one guy that annoyed me, i don't know if he was aware that he was grabbing my drink and pass it around like it was'nt mine, i asked thrice for the waiter just to get me an extra glass! But that didn't work, so i called it night and went home with my wife. The next morning i told my wife all about it, she just said he liked me? hehe.. yeah right!


Next week its Poohkwang the best comedy duo coming here in Tacloban held at the astrodome. Its gonna be another wild saturday night! :)

It's My Wifes Birthday! woot woot

Todays my wife's brithday. Yes its her birthday but no parties, just me, my wife and some friends will be goint out later. I've been thinking of what present to give my wife since its her birthday. I'm not a guy who usually gives flowers, chocolates and everything, the so called 'sweet' in particular. I've done that before, but being creative is'nt me at all. But i don't want to dissappoint her, so i'm throwing it out of the windows just to give her a lovely present. Will bouquet be nice? Chocolates? a dinner date? I guess i'll figure it out while i looked through stores in town. Wish me luck!

Bryne's First Day of School

Bryne Nathan Abarquez Lim, my son, he just entered Nursery 2 on June 8.

We are excited and my son as well, in his 1st day of school. We were actually planned ahead on what Bryne will be bringing to school. So we gather up list of things. First on the list was he's "BAON" or snack or lunch pack which is necessary. Next on the list is paper, pencils, colors and school things that will go inside his bag.

We taught Bryne how to introduce himself just incase if hes asked by his teacher, his name ,our names, where he lived, age, etc.

Here's the funny part, On Monday June 8, as planned, we drove him to school, reminding him everything and repeating it while i was driving. So we were confident he'd recall everything. But, unfortunately, after all the instructions i gave him, he still end up crying when he was asked about his name. Then after that he slept the whole day in class. (Nice try dad!)

The next day, again, same as the 1st day.

Well, on the third day, something new came up, he neither cried or slept in class. He participated in singing, dancing, reading, and made new friends. Although we were not there to see it, his Yaya told as everything. Well, our excitement really paid off.

We are sure proud of our son. We expect more from him

That was supposed to be a winning shot! See the reaction on Coach Van Gundy's Face. Terrible! He jumped way off from the rim.. i mean com'on that was the plan, he should have executed it better! Now Magic is down by 0-2.. I hope they play better on the next game its a home team advantage.

Yes, you've heard of the rumors.. but NO its not PSP 2.Its PSP GO! and guess what no UMD's for this one.You can still play your PSP 1000 - 3000 games with it. It has an onboard storage of 16 GB.. COool!! but you can still add an expandable M2 memory stick. And check out its sleek design. They litteraly made it portable, although it was before,Convenient may be the right term. It still has the same feature as PSP 3000, only made it more efficient. i dont know if its wireless capable is still the same crappy as before.. Its coming out on september.. it will be late here in the Philippines October or maybe November. I dont think i can afford this one. lols

NBA Finals MAGIC vs LAKERS

It is the talk of town. Everybody is thrilled and eager to know the result of the match-up. Both teams are in a good condition.

NBA enthusiasts was expecting Boston who were the Lakers rivals to make it to the Finals but guess how it turned out. And Cleveland, King James who's making his name soar in the NBA was left disappointed in the game.

First game will be held at the Lakers. Definitley Lakers will have the advantage. Lets see how Magic proves they are worthy opponent for the Lakers.

Will it be another golden cup for the Lakers? Or will it be Orlando making a New era?

1st Blog

Now we all know that Blogging is a new thing..Might as well try it out. this is my first so this i guess will not be open to public. however, i dont know how to do that. I dont even know
how to start.

The real reason i started blogging is beacause i have a bad memory. Forgetful! i hated this part of me. I wanted to remember things i like or love. actually i had a hard time remembering my favorite things. it took me a while to write down my profile. lols. Aside from that i wanted to share things i know with somebody else. Not every thing i share with my family really does matter to them, my Wife in particular. Listening is not enough, i need comments, reaction, or suggestions to my ideas.

Here in My Blogs is all about new things i learn every now and then.
